Our History

Our website was created by Michael Demner, a certified Actuary, who has over 45 years experience in designing and administering all types of retirement savings plans and their financial management. He has worked across Canada and the United States providing expert advice to individuals, lawyers and small companies.

Michael created this website in order to bring retirement planning to everyone and anyone in Canada. Retirement planning is an important piece of your future but is largely ignored until you're close to retirement at which time it's sometimes too late. With this website, we aim to bring a younger audience into thinking about retirement at an early age.

The sooner you begin to look at your retirement the better your retirement can look.

Our website provides advice on all types of retirement savings plans including defined benefit pension plans such as B.C. Public Pension Plan. You can find out more about the different pension plans here.

We hope that you enjoy this experience and if you have any questions, comments or suggestions for improvement please contact us or fill out our comment form.

Always seek advice from your financial planner. If you are a member of one of the BC Public Sector Pensions plans, you can see what the Pension Corporation says about your situation. Their pages provide a detailed summary of your options.
